Late Winter & Spring SportsSpring Sports
Basic Guidelines for Student Participation in all Spring sports:
A permission slip must be completed in order for a student to participate in any Spring Sport. Fees for participation should be included with the permission slip. All checks should be made payable to: St. Mary's School Booster Club.
If a student is signed up for an activity, it will be assumed that the student will attend every session of the activity unless a note is sent to school indicating that a different dismissal procedure should be followed.
If an activity is cancelled due to inclement weather, the cancellation will be posted on the school website by 1PM of the day of the activity. Please be sure that your family has a plan in place for these days and that your student knows what do to when an activity is cancelled. Students are not permitted to call home.
SOFTBALL (Grades 5-8) (Fee $25) Practices will be Tuesday and Thursday in the P.C. until the fields at Central school are playable. Practice goes from 3:30-5:00pm.
Our softball program is a great team to join for both players who are new to the sport and want to learn the fundamentals and for athletes who already have a softball background. We will compete against a variety of talent this year.
JUMP ROPE CLUB (Grades 1-5) (Fee $15.00) Advanced Jump Rope Club (invitation only)
VOLLEYBALL (Grades 5-8) (Fee $10.00)
RUNNING CLUB (Grades 3-8) (Fee- $10.00) Running Club will begin on Tuesday, April 23. Club will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays before school in the Parish Center at 7:50am to warm up. Run will begin at 8am. Participants may run in the rain. Please be sure all participants have the appropriate apparel.
