"Martha & Mary" - A Community of Prayer & Support

Dear St. Mary School Parents,
We would like to share with you the formation of an ongoing program entitled, "Martha and Mary". The "Martha" segment of our program will offer meals to help families in need; whether they have recently welcomed a new baby to their family, or are recovering from injury or surgery or dealing with an ongoing illness. The "Mary"segment of the program will be a prayer line for families who are looking for spiritual support.
If you become aware of a family's need in our school community, and you have their permission to pass their name and contact information along, we would be happy to help.

In order to best launch this program we need to establish a group of volunteer parents who would be willing to cook a meal, and/or be willing to pray for people and their special intentions. If you can help us with this meaningful and worthwhile project please email your name and number to Michelle and/or Angie.
We understand the sensitivity and privacy necessary in many situations and the need for confidentiality, so we will certainly honor anonymous/general prayer requests.
This community outreach program is simply meant to offer support at a time of need. We hope you will utilize the program should you have a specific need now or in the future. It would be wonderful if we could get many volunteers connected to this worthwhile outreach program. Thank you in advance for your support.
