It was so much fun getting a chance to meet so many families at the recent meet and greet. I can't wait to meet all of your children and look forward to hosting them for their very own meet and greet before school starts. It is going to be a great year but in the meantime... have a TON of fun this summer!
Here is a list of supplies for you to start your back to school shopping. You may use the link below to download a printable copy of this list to take to the store with you.
One Red Folder to be used for mail
One Blue Folder for Math
One Yellow Folder for Literacy
(I will label all folders with names and purpose as they arrive)
One pair of Fiskars scissors (left or right handed), labeled with a name
One 8 Pack of Large Crayons for the small hands
One box of markers
One box of colored pencils
6 Glue Sticks- they run out quickly!!
1 Bottle of White Glue
3 Pencils Labeled with their name
1 Case to hold their supplies- a small hard plastic case is preferred
A Beach towel to be used for Quiet Reading time labeled with their name
A water bottle they can refill as needed labeled with their name
Hand Sanitizer
1 Box of Tissues
Lysol Wipes
1 Roll of Paper Towels
I encourage you to take advantage of one of the area summer reading programs at a local bookstore or the town library to keep your child exploring books during the summer. While you are reading with your child ask them questions about what you are reading to enhance comprehension and even stop and predict what will happen next.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions and look for a special invitation to be mailed out in August for your child to attend a meet and greet in our classroom just before the start of school.
We are going to have a lot of fun next year and you will see your little one grow by leaps and bounds!
