The PreK through 8 model at St. Mary’s School allows for a unique faith-based community experience.
It is an experience that allows our students to grow and learn with no school transitions and greater continuity, fostering a strong family environment to thrive personally, spiritually, and academically.
Consistent structure and stability allow for curriculum planning that can be constructed based on foundational years that build upon each other as teachers are in tune to what’s being taught at every grade level. Cross-grade collaborations give opportunities for teachers and students to build connections and work together towards a common goal. Siblings enjoy many years together experiencing the same traditions and events, while celebrating each other's achievements in real time.
This thoughtful configuration can contribute to higher achievement as we have the advantage of time in getting to know our student’s learning styles and needs, while also discovering and nurturing their strengths and interests. There is no other opportunity in one’s educational experience like a PreK through 8 model. We are a community that enjoys long-standing partnerships with our parents, preparing our students together for their next journey in high school and beyond.
